Hi, I’m Josh Bierschied, the founder and owner of Candles Canvas.

My journey into entrepreneurship began when I was 12 years old, driven by a sudden and deep fascination with the art of candle making. It all started when I happened to watch a video of someone crafting a candle from scratch. I fell in love with the entire process right then and there.

Determined to learn the craft, I spent hours watching tutorials to understand the techniques. Armed with enthusiasm and a basic starter kit, I poured my very first batches for my friends and family. Their overwhelming support and positive feedback made me realize that my new hobby could become something much bigger.

I began sharing my creations with my school and local community, and that’s when Candles Canvas truly came to life.

Growing this business has taught me an invaluable lesson: you are never too young to start, and even the smallest ideas can grow into something incredibly meaningful.
